    • Windows 3.1 and Windows 95 compatible.  WashRa is now fully integrated to Windows 95. It offers complete support to Windows 95 resident programs including WordPad, Paintbrush, and others.
    • Support for ever growing list of application software: MS Office, SmartSuit, Perfect Office, CorelOffice; WordPerfect, Word, AmiPro, WordPro96, MS Write, WordPad; Lotus 1-2-3, Excel, Quattro Pro; MS Access, Approach, Paradox; Freelance, PowerPoint, Presentation, and more.
    • Support for Ethiopian Electronic Mail: you can edit and send, as well as receive and read Ethiopian Electronic Mail (EEM) over Internet using WashRa 2.0 and Eudora for Windows. Believe it that you write and read your EEM in side the mail editor, and no conversion or extra procedure is required. Not only that you can save and keep your EEM like any other mails. WashRa provides this service taking advantage of the widely accepted Multipurpose Internet Mail Extension (MIME), a feature supported by Eudora, and its own Ethiopian ASCII encoding standard.
    • Support for Ethiopian Web Document: WashRa introduces a standard and basic features to produce HTML based Ethiopian Web Document. Using your favorites Web publishers and WashRa, you can build an Ethiopian Web Page based on Ethiopians languages and script.
    • WashRa comes with two additional font called Ethiopia and Ethiopian ANSI. The new group font have different style than the WashRa font. And, it also offers a solution to those Windows' software that confirm only to ANSI font encoding. This ensures the flexibility of WashRa, so that the user would have more option.
    • For MS Office, Smart Suit, and Perfect Office that builds custom WashRa toolbar, and setup short-cut keys for easy access to WashRa fonts and keyboard layout. Sample of WashRa toolbar with MS Word.
    • All first order alphabets are typed with only one key while the rest are entered at most with two keys. Both Ethiopian and Arabic numerals require a single key for each digits.
