  • Accent (Win)  Zip file (1.2 Mb)

  • Accent Professional $ (Win)

    • Accent Professional offers support for most European languages, including various Cyrillic alphabets, and two right-to-left languages Arabic and Hebrew. Standard command and control features, such as menus and dialog boxes, can be configured to support the selected language. In many (but not all) cases, dictionary, thesaurus, spell-checking, and online help are also available.

    • Bi-directional word processing supported.  Accent supports four standard Hebrew keyboards and can handle the contextual character changes that occur in Arabic, including kashida justification (changing the length of the characters rather than the spaces between them to justify the document).  Arabic text can be displayed in simplified or traditional form, and you can opt for either ‘Hindi’ or ‘Arabic’ numerals.

    • Accent’s KeyMap feature is invaluable when you’re working in a language that uses a different keyboard layout. A graphic representation of the required keyboard is displayed on screen and you can click on the characters to type them.

    • Incorporating the features you’d expect on a standard word processor, Accent Professional 2.0 adds a professional touch to your foreign-language documents.

    • Create your own translation dictionaries in any language pair.

    • Send and receive multilingual e-mail and faxes with Microsoft Outlook.

    • Global Writer lets you type in Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Arabic, and 100 more languages.  Global Writer does not automatically translate.  You must know the language that you are typing.  But you do not need to learn a new keyboard layout because they include special phonetic keyboards for each language based on US, French, or German standard keyboards.  Also included is the standard Windows-based non phonetic keyboards for people who prefer them.

  • Intext (DOS) Zip file (175 Kb)

  • LinguaWin/LinguaScribe

    • In brief, Lingua Win has the capability of working in the following language families: Asian and Indic, Eastern European, Western European, and Middle East.

    • Asian Indic languages such as Punjabi, Gujarati, Bengali, Hindi, Sanskrit, Sinhalese, Tamil, Vietnamese and Thai are supported ehich enables users to use standard programs to process and mix any or all of these languages with European languages in the same file.  Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Punjabi and Sanskrit are also supported that enables the user to write in English phonetic alphabet which are then transliterated into any of these languages.

    • LinguaWin is available for Eastern European languages.  LinguaWin Cyrillic supports all Cyrillic based languages such as Russian, Bulgarian, Serbian and Ukrainian.  As in all LinguaWin modules, the program includes True Type fonts, keyboard layouts, keyboard manager, keyboard editor etc.  There are other modules for Eastern European languages with Latin based alphabets such as Polish, Czech, SerboCroat, Bosnian etc.  There are also modules for Albanian, Uzbech, and Azeri.

    • LinguaWin Euro enables users to have all Western European languages readily available from within any Windows application.

    • In addition to LinguaWin which supports Asian languages, users who have difficulties with Asian alphabets or Asian keyboards may opt for LinguaScribe™.  LinguaScribe™ is an innovation in the processing the foreign languages.  Non-Latin alphabets or writing systems have always posed a challenge for users and programmers because of their larger repertoire of characters, shapes and diacritics that have to be mapped on keyboards that were never designed to handle them. Their mappings are often crammed, cryptic, irrational and not user-friendly. LinguaScribe™ changes all that. It requires only a simple phonetic representation of the text.
