A note from the author:

When I teach an adult education class, I structure the material to be produced on an 8 1/2 x 14 sheet of paper turned on its side and folded to make a small booklet.  The outline is simply a way I have organized to move through the material together with the class.  However, others have told me that they have been able to use the outlines (or small variations thereon, to do their own teaching on the text.  Great!  There is nothing sacred about the chiastic construal or the outline.  If someone finds it a profitable format for their own teaching, may the Lord be blessed.  What I have discovered is that this format permits a good balance between lecture and student engagement with the material.  The outlines in the hands of the students also permits the class to go deeper into the subject.
