Testament is not only helpful, but indispensable for
diagramming. Whereas there are several Greek-English lexicons
that one may purchase, those listed on this page are the best for

A Greek-English Lexicon of the New Testament
by
Walter Bauer [Author], Frederick Danker [Editor] Internationally known as BDAG,
this lexicon is both exhaustive and irreplaceable. Walter Bauer's
lexicon is one of the great monuments of biblical and related
scholarship, perfect for English speaking students working in the Greek
text. It incorporates new research, new information, and analyses
while rendering translations into contemporary English. This is the standard
lexicon of New Testament Greek, there is no equal. This is a
"must have" volume.

The
Analytical Lexicon to the Greek New Testament
by
William D. Mounce
This volume, based on the United
Bible Society 3rd edition Greek text, is the first entirely new
analytical lexicon since the publication of Bagster's Analytical Greek
Lexicon in 1852. In addition to the lexicon proper, which includes
preferred readings as well as variants, this textbook contains an
all-new set of paradigms that explain why each Greek form is the way it
is. Includes Goodrick/Kohlenberger numbering system. This is a
"must have" volume as it declines all NTGreek forms and
cites the lexical form to assist in looking up a word, if needed, in
BAGD.
