QUESTION: I AM HAVING TROUBLE OPENING THE ADOBE PDF DIAGRAMS IN MY BROWSER.  WHAT SHOULD I DO?

When you try to open an Adobe PDF file in a Web browser, a blank screen appears.  The reason for this is because your PDF diagram set is hosted on a web server that uses Netegrity SiteMinder for security reasons.  There are two common solutions to resolve this problem.

The most common reason a document does not open properly is because you tried to access the document while it was downloading from the server.  You might be tempted to click immediately on a bookmark as soon as the document appears on the screen before it has time to download completely.  If you do, the document may stall from downloading and you will receive an error message.  Some documents are large files and download time will vary according to the speed of your Internet connection, whether dialup or broadband.

Another source of the problem be that you need to update your Adobe Acrobat Reader software.  You may go here to do it.  All updates are free from Adobe.  It is suggested that you first delete the old Adobe Acrobat Reader program before installing any updates.  By downloading the latest software from Adobe, this should solve any incompatibility issues.  All diagrams are PDF 5.x and upward compatible.

The two above solutions have always solved any issues that members have had in the past.  If these solutions do not solve your problem, please contact me and we will try to resolve the issue together.
