Many today mistakenly misunderstand the gospel, "the so great salvation", and those who will inherit "eternal life"--as if these are mutually exclusive.  On the one hand, some believe they can lose God's unmerited gift of salvation, and on the other hand, that all the saints will inherit "eternal life" and thus participate in the coming Messianic Kingdom. 

Furthermore, these studies are offered to help those who think that there are two gospels: the "gospel of grace" and the "gospel of the kingdom".  If there are two gospels, then according to Paul, either Jesus stands condemned for proclaiming the gospel of the Kingdom, or Paul condemns himself for proclaiming the gospel of grace (Galatians 1:6-8).  In actuality, the gospel of grace and the gospel of the Kingdom are the one and same gospel.
