Installing Fonts on a
PC
The following instructions apply only to Windows 95/98/2000/XP.
For other operating systems please consult your owners manual or help files.
The target font needs to be first downloaded to your computer before
it may be installed. When you click on one of the fonts
above, a dialog box will open and present several options. Select "save this
file to disk" or "open this file from its current location".
Click "Next". Save the file to your
default Windows font directory.
Once the download is complete you will need to open your "Control Panel" by
going to your "Start" button, then to "Settings" then to "Control Panel". Once
the control panel is opened, select the "fonts" icon.
A new window
will appear that is titled "fonts". Select "file" (the first menu) and then
click on "install new font". This will bring up a window that lists any
available fonts found in that directory. The portion in the bottom of this box
contains a directory tree. You need to find the directory where you downloaded
the font and click on it (i.e., the Windows Font directory), then
click "OK". The font will appear
in the top portion under "list of fonts" Click on the font
you downloaded then click "OK" again. Your new font is installed.
Depending on your system it may require that your re-boot your computer for
the new font to appear. Once installed you should be able to view the page correctly.
